Women's T20 World Cup 2026 fixtures: Hosts England grouped with Scotland and Ireland as full schedule revealed

Hosts England have been grouped with Scotland and Ireland for this summer's Women's T20 World Cup, as the full schedule was finalised.

Scotland and Ireland came through qualifying in Nepal and have been placed in Group 2 alongside England, West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

England will kick-off the Women's T20 World Cup, which is live on Your Site, against Sri Lanka on Friday June 12 at Edgbaston.

Scotland and Ireland will then face each other in the second match on June 13 at Old Trafford.

Nat Sciver-Brunt's England then face Ireland on June 16 at the Hampshire Bowl, before playing Scotland on June 20 at Headingley.

It will be the first time England have faced Scotland on home soil in a World Cup

They also come against the West Indies on June 24 at Lord's - the side that knocked them out of the 2024 T20 World Cup in the group stage - and defending champions New Zealand at The Oval on June 27.

Six-time champions Australia are in Group 1, alongside South Africa - who have been runners-up in the previous two editions - India, Pakistan, plus the other two qualifiers - Bangladesh, and the Netherlands.

Sciver-Brunt, who succeeded Heather Knight as England captain, said: "World Cups are always special, but this one already feels different - it has the potential to be truly game-changing.

"It's going to be a huge moment for our sport and a brilliant opportunity to inspire young people and captivate fans across the country.

"Playing on home soil, for the biggest prize, against the best players in the world, it's going to be unmissable. I can't wait to be a part of it."
